Where are they now?

With so many players leaving Broadhall Way during the summer, here is where some of them ended up.

Tyrone Berry
Peter Taylor signed Berry last January as Craig Dobson’s replacement, but he was released in the summer after failing to command a regular place. Berry ended up being offered a short term contract by Gillingham, although has again been recently released.

Jamie Eames
Eames was released by Boro in the summer after just 1 year at Broadhall Way. Eames was a highly rated winger signed by Mark Stimson after being released by Norwich City, but never fulfilled his potential at Stevenage. After a trial at St Albans City where he played against the likes of Barnet & Tottenham, Eames signed for South Midlands side Colney Heath.

Ashley Westwood
Boro released Westwood during the summer after just six months at the club. Westwood is yet to find a club, although has been on trial at various clubs including Luton Town and Walsall.

Alistair John
Alistair John was released by Boro after an injury plagued spell in Hertfordshire. He was on trial at Gillingham, but in the end that proved unsuccessful. He was also on trial at Cheltenham Town before Martin Allen took over a couple of weeks ago.

Tes Bramble
After being released by Stevenage, Bramble was set to go on trial at newly promoted Kettering Town, but failed to turn up. Since then he has found a new club at lowly Leiston FC.

Steven Drench
Drench was one of many goalkeepers that Graham Westley considered signing during the close season. Drench along with Muggleton and Jordan kept goal at times for Boro in pre-season. He went onto sign a permanent deal for Cambridge Utd as number 2 to Danny Potter.

Chris Nurse
Graham Westley signed Chris Nurse on a short term deal after a trial period in the summer. Nurse came on against Ebbsfleet, but failed to secure a more permanent contract. He signed for Blue Square South side Welling United last month.

Tom Youngs
Tom Youngs spent a week or two during pre season on trial at BHW, before trying to get a contract at Cambridge United. In the end Youngs signed for St Albans, but has since moved on to Mildenhall Town FC.

Carl Muggleton
Although never on trial, Muggleton did play in one game during pre season for Stevenage in the 3-1 defeat by QPR. Muggleton is now a Goalkeeping Coach at League 2 side Notts County.

Scott Barron
Barron, who was on trial at Boro during the summer has now returned to Millwall, where he has made several appearances for their reserve side.
